Missing Pieces
02:46
|
|
||
Missing pieces have brought me here
Searching, desperate for the crystal clear
Unanswered questions consume my mind
Sometimes I wish I could just rewind
Take me back, take me back to where I belong
Take me back, take me back to where I belong
Restless searching inside me head
Nothing certain is to be said
Somewhere distant from human life
I’ll be wandering here for quite sometime
Take me back, take me back to where I belong
Take me back, take me back to where I belong
Tell me how your soul is feeling
Tell me if your soul’s a real thing
‘Cause I haven’t got a clue
Tell me which wrong turn that you’ll make
Tell me if it was a mistake
‘Cause I haven’t got a clue

Song For A Bird
02:27
|
|
||
Bird in a cage
Wait for the day
When fate will open the door to your escape
Birds flying free
Sweetly they sing
One day you can live the life you dream
Where is your song?
Keep your heart strong
Sing a tune to pass the time along
Time will pass by
Dream of the sky
All your troubles gone when you can fly

The Far Off Lands
03:05
|
|||
Hush little baby don't you cry
Daddy will sing a lullaby
Seasons come, and seasons go
The rain will fall but flowers grow
Just take my hand and come with me
We'll go to places we only dreamed
Snow topped mountains; ocean sands
Walk with me to the far off lands
Quiet my beauty; hear my song
Only for you does my heart long
Cry a tear; I'll wipe your face
I'll stay near by God's grace

Away
02:52
|
|
||
Away you weary sun,
Give yourself a break,
Away and don't return,
Until the earth awakes.
Grant us serenity please,
The darkness, the quiet, the peace,
The day is the home of the worries I own,
So away and bring me relief.
Away you weary sun,
Go back to your home,
The day is surely done,
So leave the night alone.
Grant us serenity please,
The darkness, the quiet, the peace,
You've taken your turn on your heavenly throne,
Now it's time for you to leave.
Grant us serenity please,
The darkness, the quiet, the peace,
Your head must be tired from burning so bright,
So away and bring us the stillness of night.
Away you weary sun,
Give yourself a break,
Away and don't return,
Until the earth awakes.
Shining sun be bold, be gone,
Return yourself from where you've come.

This Is Not Our Home
03:10
|
|
||
War strikes, guns kill,
Fear wins, death steals,
Is there more for us
Is there nothing in our power—nothing that can shake the dark?
Is there hope for such a world or healing for the human heart?
We can’t bring about a change, even if we gave our best
Past mistakes have proven well, we can never fix this mess
There must be more here, something we’re missing,
This can’t be all there is to our living,
Darkness and demons find peace and rest here,
We better get our heads back on straight,
We’re lost that’s all I know,
This is not our home
Poor and wealthy
Sick and healthy
Reach the same demise
If we’re looking for a cure, is it in a life of ease?
If we live a longer life, will we feel a stronger sense of peace?
Is a happy life the best, can we reach that with our wealth?
Do we know just what we want; have we found a way to fill ourselves?
